Have you tried to access EMC online support site(https://support.emc.com/downloads/) for product downloading? You can try to search the product which you want to download.
If unfortunately you also cannot download from here, I have to suggest you to contact sales again.
To see additional downloads for this product, click here, or view the Documentum Download Center section for this and other options. (Note: If you are unregistered, please visit the Download Center Registration Link in the Documentum Download Center pod below, or click here, to register.
3. Click the second "click here" to register. Then, you may receive a email which are contained Login ID(Your register email) and Password.
A VDP appliance although based on a Avamar AVE I don’t believe would be considered a valid comparison to a full featured Avamar AVE or Avamar system.
The VDP UI is very different to what the normal Avamar UI provides and is also very limited in terms of its capabilities versus that of a full featured Avamar system.
If you are sincere in your interest in Avamar and require testing it in your environment prior to purchase perhaps your local EMC account team would agree to a Avamar POC.
AVE is a full featured virtual Avamar system deployed on ESX but is not free so would require you involve your EMC account team to test it in your environment.
VDP is from VMware and is a free appliance that is based on an AVE but with the significant restrictions I mentioned in my previous post.
I fully understand that. Due the company policy I cant put a new serverbox in our building - so software is the only choice. And when I heard about the AVE - it sounds like the solution to our comprehensive policies... so why would not I go and test it
I am interested in Avamar AVE not VDP. I know what VDP is, thank you - and I am not sure why VDP comes out when I am interested in trial for Avamar AVE, which was in my original post.

Hello,
if you have access to the service partner web on Powerlink you can download the Avamar Procedure Generator.
There you have all the download links for the AVE.
If you don´t have access I can send you the link to a email address.

Testing. My company would not be happy to buy something without testing it.

You need to differentiate between AVE and VDP.
AVE is a full featured virtual Avamar system deployed on ESX but is not free so would require you involve your EMC account team to test it in your environment.
VDP is from VMware and is a free appliance that is based on an AVE but with the significant restrictions I mentioned in my previous post.

Let me know if you still haven't received the download link. I am an EMC partner and can assist you with getting started with AVE.
