Hi,

I've a weird problem for our backup/restore operators

We have 2 Avamar grids, 1 is a Gen3 and 1 a Gen4, both are running Avamar 6.1.0-402.

I've created backup/restore operators on both grids.

When doing restores we noticed that on the Gen3 grid, backup/restore operators can perform restores to all 3 Restore Destination Choices. On the Gen4 grid they can only choose "restore everything to its original location", the other choices are grayed out.

Is there a difference on a Gen3 or Gen4 which now prevents this for backup/restore operators ?

Is there a way to correct this so on a Gen4 is possible again?

I don't want to give "backup/restore operators" Administrator rights on the grid or parts of it to achieve this.
