Searched several documents and could not find any way to export profiles. I know the way how to import - export dataset, schedule and retention policy but looks like there is no way to perform profile import - export.

Download the following script from the ftp

ProfileAdmin

Run the following command on the Source Grid from where you need to copy the Profiles

Perl ProfileAdmin.pl --filename=/tmp/myprofiles.yaml --action=export

Then copy the generated file on the grid where you need to create the profiles and run the following command

Perl ProfileAdmin.pl --filename=/tmp/myprofiles.yaml --action=import

Note : If the grid where you are running does not have YAML package installed it will throw an error along with the instruction to install YAML package.

If you want to copy specify profiles use --help to see the advance options.

This script would be very useful for me.

Do you know if it is supported on Avamar v7.0x? Export and Import are working, but when I try to do the following for working profile: export -> delete Profile -> Import - e-mail notifications stop sending.

Update:

It begin works after I manually press Disable profile and then Enable.

So is there a way how to emulate it via CLI? Unfortunately, updating record "active" in ev_cus_prof did not help.
