Having issues with Avamar Proxy removing snapshots after successful backup.

My vmware image backups complete, but suddenly do not remove snapshots afterwards.  I am using the avamar proxy servers to do this.  Has anyone else came across this issue before?  I currently have a ticket open and will update this accordingly.
