Not Traversing Files Error msg
I am new to Avamar and need some help. I am getting the following error messages in the activity monitor
on one of my physical servers that I am backing up.
In the session log I am seeing the following
<5415>: Reparse Point Traversal limit reached
<16280>: Not traversing 'c:\Users\All Users' since it's a 'REPARSE_USER_SYMLINK_DIR' and 'dereference' flag not specified
<16281>: Not traversing 'c:\Documents and Settings' since it's of type 'REPARSE_SYSTEM_DIR_JUNCTION'
Can any body help me on this issue? Thanks

Has anyone been able to answer this? I am getting the same errors in our session logs on one of our file servers.

Hi snawaz,
Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and questions can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "Avamar Support Forum" which would be the most relevant for this question.

Hey,
I have researched the issue, but cannot find any related information. I suggest you to open a SR for supporting.

I opened an SR but we were able to correct it before support contacted us. We re-installed the Avamar client (did NOT retire the client in Avamar server) and rebooted the server. It's been successfully backing up for a week now.
