Root-to-root migration question on newsystem restore

Question

We're preparing to performa  root-to-root migration from our Gen 1 grid to our new Gen 4 grid.  Having run the initial replication for several days, we've finally made it to the point where we're ready to perform the restore on the new grid. I have a few questions once we perform the mcserver.sh --restore --restoretype=newsystem: Admin documentation states prompt for 'Enter the Avamar server IP address or fqdn to restore from' - and docs state to enter the destination server name or IP address.  Is that the name of the Gen1 utility node or the Gen 4 utility node?  The 'restore from / dest server name' is confusing. Do we need to change the host name and IP address of the Gen 4 node to match was was on the Gen 1, or can we just point the dns host name of the Gen 1 utility to the same IP as the Gen 4 utility?  All clients are registered using fqdn, not IP address. Thanks.

Restore from the replication target (the Gen4 system). A DNS update is generally sufficient but renaming the system will probably make your life easier in the long run. You might need to update the hfsaddr and rmi_address fields in mcserver.xml if you don't rename the system.

Thanks.  So, if we rename the system, it's just the name of the Gen 4 utility node that needs to be changed to match what was the old Gen 1 utility?

If it were my system, I would rename the nodes to match the previous naming scheme just to keep things consistent.
