Utilizing the Windows Previous versions tab with Avamar
Hello,
We have Avamar 6.1 currently backing up CIFS shares sitting on an NS-960. Is there a way to utilize the previous versions tab functionality of windows to allow our users to restore their own files from backups?

I believe the "previous versions" tab only works with Windows shadow copies and the integrated Windows backup utility. I am not aware of any way to use this tab to restore from third party backup applications.
The Desktop / Laptop functionality in Avamar would give your users the ability to back up and restore their own files but this might prove challenging to integrate since it sounds like your users' files are all stored on a NAS device, where DTLT expects the files to be stored locally.
