You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "Avamar Support Forum" which would be the most relevant for this question.
The proxy architecture changed between Avamar 6.0 and Avamar 6.1. You will need to deploy new Avamar 6.1 proxies using the .ova from the Avamar 6.1 server's Documents and Downloads page.

Would the upgrade procedure in the 6.0/6.1 user guide for vmware apply to this i.e going from proxy node version 6.02 to 6.1?
