You may run a server_cifs server_x command to check whether it is running. Also can do the same from Celerra Manager GUI -. CIFS -> Configuration.
For continued issue on this - please feel free to open a Service Request with EMC Celerra Support and they can help you by checking the box.
Thanks,
Sandip

Please, check if the usermapper is enabled, and the filesystem size.
This exact error message happens when it's too small.

I forgot to add it to the domain with the following command:
server_cifs vdm1 -J compname=ns-cifs52,domain=domain.lan,admin=user,ou="ou=Celerra:ou=Servers"
The above command is customize, but I think it's clear.
