Celerra CIFS share + XP Home?

Question

I have a consultant who showed up for work with an XP Home laptop. He can map to any share he has rights to on any of our Windows servers but he can't connect to shares on our Celerra. The error usually comes back as insufficient resources. Does anyone know of any incompatibilities with XP Home and Celerra?

Yes, but so are the real Windows servers he is able to access. He has an AD user account and is using those credentials to try to gain access.

it probably has something to do with XP Home not designed to access resources in active directory domains. Is your CIFS server joined to AD ?
