CIFS share with net share

What I understand - you are trying to create a share on the server but it is a folder which is on the NAS share. In other words this is trying to create a share on a Network share - which is not possible as per Microsoft standard. You can not create a share on mapped network drive - per my understanding this is Microsoft restriction, nothing to do with Celerra.

thanks, net share is running on server local not on mapped drives.

If you want to remotely create a share on the Celerra you can use the normal MMC for Computer Management

If you need CLI you can use rmtshare.exe from the Windows Resource Kit
