Configuring SNMP on Celerra

Hi,

I run into a snag that I just cannot figure out.

when I issue a snmpwalk -v 2c -c "community-name" cifs-server1 .1.3.6.1.4.1.1139.2

I will get the following error message back.

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1139.2 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

But if I use Version 1 instead of version 2c, I get nothing back. But if I issue commands like this:

snmpwalk -v 2c -c "community-name" cifs-server1 at

snmpwalk -v 2c -c "community-name" cifs-server1 system

snmpwalk -v 2c -c "community-name" cifs-server1 ip

That works just fine..

I think it has a lot to do with how snmpd.conf file is configure for my view. Can anyone on this list either help

me with this issue or send me a good snmpd.conf file with your IP's changed or cross out. As certainly

do not want anyway. Maybe by comparing the file I can see where I am going wrong.

I appreciate your help.

Phillip
