Copy Files and keep NTFS permissions

I have a new NS-120 setup with a CIFS server.  I am trying to move/copy data from exiting windows servers but I cannot seem to get the NTFS permissions to copy over with the data.  I have used Robocopy,Xcopy and emcopy and all I ever get after the copy is authenticated users, domain backup admins and domain admins.  The files and folders on the source location have both Domain users and domain groups permission assigned to them.  I have also tried Secure copy from scriptlogic and it seem to work but it also cost so I am not sure why these other utilities are not coping the NTFS permissions?

Thought?

Hi,

please, post the EMCOPY syntax you used, and if possible the log summary.

My first thought (at least until you mentioned it was working fine with ScriptLogic) was that you were copying folder(s) but not at the level where the permissions were explicitly set on the source.  Instead, you are possibly copying from a child folder from which the permissions for the "domain users" are inherited?  I'm not at this point suggesting it is an issue.  Possibly just thinking out loud while we wait on the syntax of the commands you are using.
