Delete ALL files from one share

Question

Is there a quick an easy way to delete all files which resided on a single share?

For example:

Test File System
|___Share1
|___Share2

I want to completely delete Share2 and all of its files without losing Share1 or deleting the Test File System.

You need to mount the file system on the control station and navigate to the right path to do it on the control station. You can follow normal mount procedure (adding control station IP to the root hosts) - or else you may already know another tricky way to do so by mounting on the slot - I can not say anything more

. Although this is not recommended - but if you are 100% confident you can use it on your own risk.

Ok... how about sudo rm -r * from the CLI of the control station?

dont expect miracles though - this is just a normal NFS mount over the internal network probably running at 100MBitchances are an external NFS or CIFS GBit client would be faster

One more point, don't forget to delete any CIFS share or NFS export, if at all exists, on that folder or any subfolder under it. Thanks again,Sandip
