Does Celerra do nested CIFS Shares?
Hello,
I am doing a data migration of CIFS data, the data is set up with nested shares.
For Example, the shared folders are set like this:
CIFSRoot/Share1
CIFSRoot/Share1/Share2
CIFSRoot/Share1/Share2/Share3
CIFSRoot/Share1/Share4
CIFSRoot/Share1/Share4/Share5
So when a user browses the CIFS Server at the root level they see all the shares at one level
Share1
Share2
Share3
Share4
Share5
Can the Celerra do that? I'm not to sure where to look. Can someone help point me in the correct direction.
Do I need to do something with multiple File Systems too? Ideally, I would like all the shares to be on a single File System, is this possible?
Thanks.

sure - Celerra CIFS doesn't mind nesting you can create shares at any level within a (virtual) data mover
