Unfortunately, the NSX is not customer-installable. You will need to contact your local field service team to schedule an install.
Bear in mind that for boxes which are not customer-installable, EMC or one of our Authorized Service Partners must do the installation or your box will not be covered under warranty, and will not be eligible for support services.
Please let us know if you have any questions about this.

for 5.5 you need 2x 11GB and 4x 2GB
for 5.6 one of these 2GB LUNs should be 64GB for a NS-X
no, for Replicator they dont have to be in the same network - of you they need to be able to reach each other through a router then
Unless you have a specific reason - like having to replicate with another 5.5 based system - I would recommend to get 5.6 installed instead
Among of other improvements 5.6 contains Replicator V2, which is more scalable and faster
5.5 only supports Replicator V1
5.6 does support V2 and it isnt possible to replicate between a 5.5 and a 5.6 system.

I your case I would suggest upgrading your source system to 5.6 and installing the NS-X with 5.6 since you normally would want to upgrade it to 5.6 later anyway

Home > Support > Technical Documentation and Advisories > Hardware/Platforms Documentation > Celerra Network Server > Maintenance/Administration
And look at 'Using Celerra Replicator (v1)', near the bottom of the page.
