Java security warnings in Celerra manager

I am running DART 5.6.46-4 on Windows XP with IE 7.0.5730.13

I recently applied the latest JRE 1.6.0_20

Now when launching Celerra manager I frequently get escurity warning pop-ups when navigating through the console that ask whether or not you want java to block the potentially unsafe components from being run. Apparently the application contains both signed adn unsigned code.

My questions are:

     1. Is there a way to disable this security feature of java?

     2. Does EMC intend to insert signatures into the code to comply with this request in the future?

I receive the same warning messages in Navisphere as well of course.

I disabled security warning in Java Control panel, under Advanced, Security, General, “Warn if the site certificate does not match hostname”.

I tried that and still received the warnings.

However, in the java control panel under Advanced -> Security -> Mixed code I changed the setting to "Enable - hide warning and run with protections"

Now the warnings no longer appear.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

no problem, it was one of those settings. I disabled/enabled a bunch of them trying to make that pop-up go away
