Keeping Rainfinity on primary device

Question

We have a Rainfinity appliance consisting of a primary unit and a standby. Recently our networking team had to move their ports to a new switch. The networking team has informed me that all port configuraitons are the same as the original switch. Since the move, the IP address of the primary side will not respond to ping. I bounce the standby unit and this will cause the primary to start responding. It will stay responding for some time (usually overnight) but appears to fail back over to the standby unit. I do not know Rainfinity all that well, but I'm guessing there is a setting or something I need to do to restore it back to its original configuration. Please advise.

Our network team had put the wrong VLAN on eth2, 3, 4 and 5. One of the problems with large companies that get compartmentalized.

makes sense we do see this a lot - the networking guys seem to have a tendency so say everything is fine on their side until you show them that it isnt thanks for letting us knowRainer
