LDAP user and group mapping
Hello,
I'd like to test the Celerra Simulator with LDAP (AD) in order to use the users and groups defined in AD. This thread helped me a lot :
https://forums.emc.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=98867&tstart=150
I got it working almost properly :
when I create a file through the CIFS protocol, I can see the right UID from NFS. However I have a wrong GID (32770), so when I set rights to the file I get some troubles.
This cause problems only with CIFS, when I create a file through NFS and set it rights, Windows displays the corrects rights for user and group.
Anyone knows how to configure the Celerra in order to set the right GID? Or if not possible, is there any way to grant the same rights through CIFS and NFS for centralized accounts?
Any help will be very appreciated!
