Migrate Celerra to other Backend Storage
Hi,
A customer has a Celerra NS40 Gateway with CLARiiON CX3-20 backend. He wants a new CLARiiON CX4-240 and migrate all to the new CLARiiON.
I am looking for a procedure (CLARiiON procedure or Celerra procedure) but I don't find it.
Anybody know if it is possible? Can I migrate the Celerra Control/System LUNs from a CLARiiON to other CLARiiON?

Hi Pablo,
since gateway installation and migration are done by EMC you need to contact your local EMC technical contact about what options you have there.
we normally dont migrate the boot LUNs - you could however run a data-in-place upgrade of the Clariion (which should be in the Clariion prodecure generator)
