NDMP Backups only 1 at a time

Question

In netbackup 6.0 my NDMP backup is queuing all of the file systems but only running them 1 at a time. The Celerra documentation says it supports 4 at a time. The queued jobs are waiting on the tape resource, even though the tape drives are set for multiple jobs and there are two drives in the storage unit there is only 1 file system being backed up to one drive of the two drives.

so you are trying to backup multiple file systems at the same time ?

check your Netbackup configuration - the data mover doesnt mind up to four concurrent backups

For Legato Networker it would be in the client groups area.

Also if you want to send more than one NDMP stream to one tape drive it has to be set to allow multiplexing of NDMP streams

I think that may be the issue. It doesn't look like Netbackup allows multiplexing of NDMP backups. Even though it queues up a job for each file system it will only write on file system to 1 drive at a time.
