NMFS with CIFS, ABE, and Replicator V2

I'd like to use a global namespace for our litigation volumes-15million files per TB.

Any lilitations or best prctices I should watch for?

We'd like to keep the individual PFS under 1.5TB each, mounting them under the nmfs root.
Can I mount say, 10 pfs under a single VDM, treat them as a single unit for DR, replicate them and have acceptable replication and switchover/failover?

Also, I prefer to remove the default everyone group from the root of a shared folder and replace it with Authenticated users. I assume the reason I cannot modify this on the nmfs root is because it is mounted ro. Is it acceptable to mount it rw, change the security, and mount it rw?

Will ABE play nice?

Thanks

replicating the NMFS will not replicate the component file systems - you need to replicate and failover them seperately
Replicator V2 failover is pretty quick so that shouldnt be a problem

remounting the NMFS and changing the ACL should be possible - I havent tried it

I dont see a reason why ABE wouldnt work - should be tried though

your other options would be using a DFS root or symbolic links

OK, thanks. This will be a very clean setup compared to all the mapped drives we use today.
