NS20 File System Capacity

I am having a though time finding the specs for the NS20 max File System capacity. I have grown my File System to 4.6TB and I was wondering how far I can go.

Thanks

if this is just a test LUN and you do not need the data, delete the partition

just download the release notes for your DART version from Powerlink

Its got a Technical Guidelines section that lists this and many more interesting numbers

Ok, deleted the partition and what do you know. I can now assign a drive letter or format. Interesting.

Thanks!

Within disk manager:
Right-click the Unknown new (unallocated) disk and select Initialize Disk.
select the disk to initialize, and then click OK. The disk description changes from Unknown to Basic.
Right-click the unallocated space and select New Partition.
The New Partition Wizard starts.
Do not format more than one iSCSI LUN at a time. Otherwise, some of the volumes might
become write-protected so they cannot be formatted.

And take a look at the Installing EMC Celerra iSCSI Hosts Component, p. 28ff

Normally the right click, initialize works, but this is not an option listed. only options is delete partition.

Ok,thanks. I think I am good for a while then.

To add, this storage is primarily for ESX. However I did test the MS iscsi initiator on my workstation and was able to see a masked assign LUN (500GB) that I created for my PC. Within Disk Management, it's listed as 500GB unknown. How can I see or moun this disk within XP? Or can I?

Thanks
