Problem when enabling smb2

When we enable smb2 on our celerra, our window 7 clients got problem with offline synchronisation (against users home-dir on the celerra)

They got synch error and the error is that the files is in use.

When turning smb2 off again all works fine.

We have tested to put the users home-dir on a windows 2008R2 server - and that works fine

The conclusion is that this is a celerra issue...or....??

which DART rev ?

take a look at the DART release notes - they mention this:

Fix

Fixed in version

5.6.47.1
Added a cache for storing the 64 bit timestamps of the 5 most recent offline files, so they can be set

correctly after the temporary files have been renamed. The cache is enabled by setting the param

cifs.offlinecompat to 1.

Symptom Desc.

With SMB2 and offline folders, Windows Vista clients wrote their changes to a temporary file (temp A),

renamed the existing file to another temporary file (temp B) and then renamed the temp A file to the

original file name.

The clients rely on the Last Modification date and the LastChange dates of temp A remaining

unchanged after they have been explicitly set. These values are 64 bit timestamps and persistent after

file closed.

Hello

our dart version is 5.6.47-11

Do you think enable this parameter should solve our problem?
