system pools or user defined pools ?

system pools are automatic (once the raidgroups and LUNs were created and made visible to the Celerra)

The emc knowledge base primus solution emc138143 has all the details regarding adding space to storage pools.

make sure to understand that user-defined pools (unlike system pools) don't stripe by default

so for performance reasons you might want to add stripe stripe volumes to the pool and not single LUNs
