server_checkup returns errors
Hi,
When I run server_checkup server_2 -test CIFS on our Celerra I get error messages for some of the cifs shares:
Warning 17451974858: server_2 : The pathname /powell_data/root/PCCommon/BackUp/as49 of the share 'as49' is invalid.
--> Check the filesystem of the share is correctly mounted and the pathname still exists. If it's permanently unmounted or one directory component is missing, please remove the share using the server_export command.Refer to the commands reference manual for more details.
But I can access this share without any problems so I'm wondering what this error means?
Thanks,
Sheppie

It is just a warning but if you are concerned open a service request and customer service will take a look.

Apparently this will shortly be fixed in an new code release.

makes sense since file system path's are case sensitive in Celerra and Unix but are not in the Windows CIFS world
