Time Service/NTP Errors on DMs
I am getting the following error on the data movers on a Dart 6.0 NX4 system:
Fatal table error: Input/output error Internal MAC Socket Error 10: Connection timeout:
When I access the DM screen, right click on server_2, select Properties, the pop-up window shows what appears as an unresponsive data mover. Settings are not being returned to the screen, Data Mover CPU and Memory responsiveness not showing up. Time Zone properties not selectable, etc.

Well – for CIFS (actually Kerberos) to work your data mover time has to be within 5 minutes of the domain controller time
Now with 6.0 and UniSphere correct time and time zones on the control station and the SP’s is getting more important than with earlier releases since UniSphere uses signed certificates
