I have no idea what application is been used for archiving data how could i verify the same?

What should and how should i verify for getting the activity complete ,I had already log a call with EMC for the health check .But interested to verify the things from our end

Hi Pravipan

I would open CenteraViewer and the CLI window and issue the following commands:
show pool capacity -> this would tell you how much data has been archived
show registered applications host -> lists all hosts and the profiles they use as well as the SDK version used.

Be aware that show registered applications only works for applications that really register after connecting to Centera.

In addition issue show profile list to generate the list of profiles. Provided that the names are somewhat meaningful this tells you which applications are in use.

Other than this we can also schedule a TeamViewer session to the station where CenteraViewer is installed and I'll guide you through the tasks.

Hi Holger ,

Thanks for the commands, ''show registered applications host'' is the what i was looking for to verify for the connected host .

I can see OS mentioned under host here its Linux will verify same for the application used to archive data and confirm.

Also will check the possibilties if we can teamviewer.

Appreciate all your help.

Thanks Pravipan
