Broken Chromebook screen
I purchased the 3110 2 n 1 for my grandson in October. The screen somehow was shattered and when I took it in to be repaired I was given a quote of almost $1300, which is considerably more than the original price. Any suggestions you could offer would be appreciated.
Thank you,

The screen assembly is about $80, plus $100 in labor.

That's still nearing 50% the cost of a new chromebook -- they're $400 +/- about 20.00.

You could use an external monitor to mirror the Chromebook screen to the monitor, which if your grandson has, could be a good option.
