Adding a CX3-40 to a domain

Question

Can I a CX3-40 be added to a domain where the master is a CX-500? I am getting this error 'Unable to get information from: 10.x.x.x'? The flare on the CX3-40 is 3.26 and the CX-500 is 2.26. Thanks

Do they see each other over LAN ? This message looks like CX500 could not reach CX3-40 storage with IP address 10.x.x.x

What is the exact revision of FLARE on each system? If you are adding a system with higher rev than the domain master, you should be able to add it to the domain but you won't be able to manage it. The Navisphere Help document states that you should make the system with the highest revision of FLARE the domain master.

Yes, they see each other. I have other CX-500's on the same domain that are also on the same LAN.

Aran,The master is CX-500, Flare ver. 2.26.500.5.010 and the new CX3-40 which I am trying to add to the domain is 3.26.040.5.010.Thanks
