Assigning Server To Multiple Storage Groups
We are setting up a VMWare proxy backup server and I thought it would
just be as simple as adding my proxy server to each storage group that
have LUNs presented to VMWare.
I get a warning that when if I add this proxy server to a different
storage group it will be removed from the existing one.
What is the correct way of doing this?
Creating a new Storage Group with my proxy server and adding the LUNs to
that?

i take it you have different storage groups for different ESX nodes ? If that's the case, then yes ..create another storage group, add your proxy server and then individual ESX LUNs.
