cache got disabled due to disk failure
CX700WDR5
What are the conditions from disk failures which may trigger a cache disable? Like multiple disk failures ??? what all?

it wasn't vault drive in my case So would a data disk (RAID) failure/resync/replacement put the cache disabled?

disk (RAID) failure/resync/replacement put the cache
disabled?
The failure of a non-vault drive (some drive other than the first 5 drives in Bus 0 Enclosure 0) will not cause the array's Write Cache to disable. There are other component failures that will result in the array temporarily disabling Write Cache (until the faulty component is corrected) such as the failure of a Power Supply in the SPE (storage processor enclosure) or in the DAE at Bus 0 Enclosure 0, or having a Storage Processor down, or having no fully charged SPS unit. How long was the array's Write Cache disabled for, and did it re-enable by itself or only after some component had been replaced?

equializing process is done ? (data from HS back to new drive)
In the context of a vault drive having failed - yes, the Write Cache will automatically re-enabled itself once data has been restored to a new drive in the original location. When a Hot Spare is used, this is once data has been Equalized to the new drive; when a Hot Spare is not used, this is once data has been Rebuilt directly to the new drive.
