CS200 setup
I am a newbie of SAN array setup hope will get help from anyone in the forum, very much appreciate of all the guidance and assistant given:
I have an EMC2 clariion CX200 SAN storage, attached to Dell Poweredge 2650 with HBA card - Qlogic 2340. The EMC storage that I have had been setup previously to by used by others, now this storage no longer needed, I can wipe off all the configuration.
Dell server is running on RHEL 4 update 4, I have attached the storage into the Dell server, What is the very first thing that I need to do in order to setup the EMC storage to be use by the Dell Linux box? Do I need to install any agent to the server? I manage to run the NAVISPHERE 6.0 but what is next?

on the array
- you need to zone the host to array and register the HBAs belonging to the host.
- create a storage group and add the host to that.
- Bind the luns and add to above storage group.
please ask more questions as you go along doing this...will be glad to assit.
