CX3-20c or CX4-120c Storage Array
We ask vendor to revise the quote of a CX3-10c Storage Array.
They just get back to us and suggests us to use CX4-120c. It is strange that the price they quote is the same for both model. I believe that CX4-120c should cost more money than CX3-10c. Is it correct ? Should we clarify with them ?
Moreover, we plan to use MirrorView for replication between the new Storage Array and an existing CX3-20 at HQ via TCP/IP by using iSCSI. Is there any problem if we opt for CX4-120c ?
Thanks

As CX3-10 and CX4-120 are the smallest arrays of their series, it is possible. Anyway you would win because specifications are better with CX4-120 :-D
Concerning the compatiliblity of MirrorView betwwen CX3 and CX4 I don't know but it would be surprising if no. Just ask your vendor to confirm it?

But we had a big problem with that. We ordered an AX150, AX150 was no more available and AX4 was not yet available! We had to be patient...
