That being said, yes, you should be able to download the correct flare code and or patches provided that you have registered your arrays with Powerlink. You will not however, be able to get the afore mentioned files from Powerlink based on the post in this thread.

I guess I don't need these files as mentioned on the top of this topic.
I just did a test. And it seems to be only downloading Hot Fixes with NST. These hotfixes are something different than patches and new major versions of the clariion.
I run 4.28.xx and after the option Download hot fix it came back with there are No hotfixes available.
You can also download the current version of FLARE from powerlink, save it to a local directory on the system running NST, and then point NST to the downloaded FLARE code. Something to consider though is that the Recovery Image and Utiliy Partition are FLARE specific and I don't know what the impact is if you need to actually use those tools and there is a FLARE code mismatch. For this reason I always have my CE perform the ugprade from one FLARE family to another, that way all the correct partitions are in place. Then after that it is a simple process for me to perform FLARE upgrades within the revision.
Sorry, I guess I was to early with my question. I think I got it. I need to hit the button Prepare for Installation Step 1. here I can download the Flare.

You must register the arrays and all the software to be able to see any updates on PowerLink - what you see on PowerLink is determined by what you register - so remember to register all the software including Navisphere Agent/CLI, PowerPath, San Copy (if purchased), Mirrorview (if purchased), etc.

Typically those other files are for the service personnel only - you should probably contact your local CE about this.

Yes, it is best practice to upgrade the other images - they are available to service providers and CE's.

So, I can as customer upograde my two clariions cx4-240 with flare 29 trough NST?
Is this a pretty forward thing to do, because It's my first time I will do it myself. And are there things I should know about befor I begin etc etc.

NST will walk you through step by step and let you know if there are any issues or warnings before you upgrade. It works very well.
