Defragment Option Grayed Out

Question

I am sure this is a very basic question, but what the heck.  I have a clariion CX4-240 with Flare 29.  We do not have a licensed version of Analyzer installed.  When I go to a configured Raid Group and select Properties then Partitions I see the Luns listed for the Raid group at the top with a breakdown of Bound Space and Free space at the bottom.  My problem is the option to run a Defragmentation is grayed out.  Do I need an additional license to run a defragmentation process or am I just having a senior moment? Thank you in advance....

i am not sure, don't have any boxes running 30 yet.  Take a look at this solution: emc184529

Yes, it was grayed out on RAID 6, but looks good on RAID 5.  Will upgrading to FLARE 30 help?

i am sure you don't need a license for that. Can you connect to the other SP and see if it's the same. Could be Navisphere flaking out.

Thanks for the heads up.  On the Powerlink site how do I use the emc184529 to find what you are referencing?  I tried searching by it, but got no hits.
