Defragmentation a RAID Group

Hi TKM,

If you unbind and rebind LUNs in a RAID group - you may create unused area or gaps in the contiguous space i.e. fragment the raid group. You may check whether the Raid Group is fragmented or not - by going to the property page of the RAID Group.

Please refer to the "EMC NaviSphere Manager - Administrator Guide" (available on Powerlink) document for more details - please refer to the section of Reconfiguring LUNs, Raid Groups and Storage groups.
