Error message when using naviseccli getunusedluns

Hello,

Each time I launch this command : naviseccli -h getunusedluns I receive this mail from Clariion :

Time Stamp 09/09/11 13:54:57 (GMT) Event Number 71058233
Severity Error Host SP-A
Storage Array CKM xxxxxxxxxxx SP N/A Device N/A
Description Failing Command: Set LUN.
71 05 82 33

The command works perfectly but it's annoying to receive this mail.

Does anyone know why and how to stop this?

Regards

Got this from engineering:

------------------------------

It turns out that the code sees if the LUNs can be unbound by trying to unload features (such as mirroring).  If they cannot be unbound (by being unloaded), the LUN is not considered unused.  But the side effect of this method is having these error messages show up in the log file.

This is the intended behavior and as workaround, we recommend that you deselect the event 0x71058233 in the template.

Hi,

The array is CX4-240

Flare version : 4.30.0.5.509

Naviseccli version : 7.31.0.3.76

Thanks

What host are you running this from - Windows? What version OS? Is the error you see in the CLARiioN Event log or is that on the host?

There's a new version of naviseccli 7.31.25.x.x. I ran this on my Windows XP using the latest naviseccli at a 30.0.5.517 array without errors - but there are no used LUNs at the moment on that array. I'll see if I can find a 509 array.

One last question:

I succesfuly created a new template but can't delete the old ones, they're all grayed out...

We can't edit their properties too.
