Fibre Channel loop down on logical port

Hi,

I've got a CX 700 and I've received the following alert:

SITE_ID: xxx

CONTACT_FIRST_NAME: IT Operations

CONTACT_LAST_NAME: support team

EVENT_NUMBER: 71170008

SEVERITY: Information

HOST: CX700

STORAGE_ARRAY: XXXX

DEVICE: N/A

DESCRIPTION: Fibre Channel loop down on logical port 1.

00 00 04 00 02 00 56 00 d3 04 00 00 08 00 17 61 08 00 17 61 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 71 17 00 08

I've checked the system and it all looks fine, the servers are all working fine as well.

Any thoughts what it could be?

Many thanks

B

If you look in Connectivity status all paths show logged-in ?

This message is telling you that the connection between the array and the switch is down, look for a following message about the loop up. Check in Connectivity Status and see if you see any paths displayed as logged out.
