How to correct wrong host registration?
Hi,
I have 2 hosts connect to CLARiiON, but have wrong registraions.
Host A and Host B share the same registration.
Host A has 4 of registrations, Host B has 4 of registrations;
And both them share the same host name of registration.
Enter engineer mode, see storage group properties, and found:
Host A own his registraions, Host B own his registrations.
So It doesn't impact the production.
How to correct this wrong registions?
Thank you for input.
Dennis

Hi,
Normally this happens when you have a host cloned.
What OS you are running ?
For a Unix server you can try to delete the /etc/log/HostIdFile.txt and check if /agentID.txt has the correct IP adress, than restart the Navisphere agent, which will recreate the HostIdFile.txt correctly.
If it solve the issue, you will have deregister the hosts and register them again.
You can find a step by step on primus emc102085.
