Is FLARE 30 available now ?
Hi,
We are planning to upgrade / migrate our existing CX3 system to CX4 SAN in late October this year. From the news, we are aware that FLARE 30 will be released soon.
We just wonder whether it has been released and whether it is possible for us to ask the vendor to get it install in our new CX4 system.

Flare 30 is due to be released in a few days. Not sure if it will be this week or early next week.

Are there any release notes publicly available yet, or will I need to contact my rep and do the whole NDA thing?
I've heard some possibilities of some new things and I wanted to see if they're going to happen in FLARE 30.

I tried to find documentation regarding thick LUN creation (into pool) with navissecli, do you have white paper available in powerlink ?

Release note documents will be posted to Powerlink once the Flare code is posted or shortly there after.

Am I blind, or am I not seeing the v30 release notes anywhere?
I have a shiny new CX4-960 sitting here doing nothing, but I'd like to know a bit more before I leap

I still see only up to 04.29.000.5.01 on powerlink, and Unisphere service manager gives a access denied when trying to download FLARE 30. My CX4 is registered, but I guess there must be a problem with my powerlink account.

It's a brand new CX4-240 (emc/dell), and I registered on powerlink and it's showing under my registered devices. I wonder if this is some odd emc/dell thing. I have a CX500 emc/dell and have never had a problem with powerlink not listing the appropriate code.
I have the CX4-240 and a new Cisco UCS system just waiting to FLARE 30 and all the wonderful new VMWare features. I guess I'll be waiting just a little longer.
