MirrorView between AX4 and CX4

Hello!

Does anybody can advise the next: does MirrorView operate between AX4 and CX4 if they are in the same site and are connected to the same SAN infrastructure?

Thanks!

Just an FYI - links for some reason do not work when you're using Firefox.

Supported storage systems for Fibre channel mirroring configurations

CX4-120, CX4-240, CX4-480, CX4-960, CX3-10c, CX3-20, CX3-20c, CX3-20f, CX3-40, CX3-40c, CX3-40f, CX3-80,,
AX4-5, and AX4-5F8.

Important - A CX4 series storage system can be in a Fibre Channel mirror configuration with a CX3 series only if
the CX3 series is running FLARE 03.24.xxx.5.yy or later. An AX4-5 can be in a Fibre Channel mirror configuration
only if the AX4-5 is running FLARE 02.23.050.5.5xx and Navisphere Manager and the expansion pack enabler is
installed.

Thank you for your answer, glen!

So, these arrays (AX4-5F and CX4-120C) can be in the Fiber Channel mirror configuration. Am I right?

And one more: could you be so kind to give me a link to the document with this information.

Thanks!

You can check White Paper: MirrorView Knowledgebook: FLARE 29 — A Detailed Review available on Powerlink (Page 25) for this -- and other MV related -- information.
