MirrorView connection between storages
Hi,
i wanted to enable mirrorview connection between 2 storages. In Connectivity status both storages are present with status logged in and registered. When i go to Manage MirrorView connections no storage is present in Unconnected/Unknown systems and there is no way to enable the connection between storages for MirrorView.
I wondered a lot what could be the problem - checked the connections - they were ok. Finally i added the remote storage to multidoomain management and it appeared in mirrorview connections so I was able to enable it.
My question is why is this happened ?
As far as I know the MirrorView connection should appear when the connection between storages is made.
In our case both storages are running version 26 patch 14, one is CX3-20f and the other is CX500 and are connected through FC.
I'll appreciate it if someone clarifies that for me. Thanks in advance !

The storage systems can be in different Navisphere domains, which you manage with the UI.

How about if we are not using management workstation and we want to configure connections from Navisphere run from the storage. Is there a way to enable connection without adding other storage to the domain or adding it to multidomain management.
Also is this means that when replication is running you must have IP connectivity between storages or you just need IP connection when enabling the mirrorview connectivity ?
I thought that when MirrorView is running it communicates to the other storage through FC.
