MV/A fracture errors

Every 2 or 3 weeks, 1 or 2 of the MV/A replication sets get fractured by getting the following errors.

what would cause this type of fractures?
We have cx4 <- MV/A -> cx3 by using iscsi interface

Host=cx4_spB; Device=N/A; SP=

SANCopy session has failed for the mirror.
Look at the status error code to determine actual cause of error.

File: SPpoll.cpp
Line: 4007
Details: Admin fracturing mirror CX4_LUN_26_MV-A_CX3_LUN_26 due to error 712a0019.DestStatus 712ac007, Sourc

If the mirror goes into an “Admin Fractured” state on its own, I’ve seen that occur on CX3’s with certain versions of FLARE. You should open a case with support and have them look at the logs. It might just be an internal software timing issue that’s addressed in more recent patches of FLARE.

This could have multiple sources for the problem. Make sure that the link between the sites is stable and that the latency is reasonable. If you do open a case with EMC, be sure to get spcollect as soon as possible after the fracture occures. You should have the network configuration available - make and model of switches, any devices used between the sites, etc.
