I use it all the time, especially since the latest version 6.29 was released. With 29 everything seems to be much faster. For instance when I would connect a host or add lun to a storage group it would take upwards of 10 minutes if I just web'd into the SP or used off-array ver. 6.28. Now with version 29 it takes seconds to pull up the lists of servers/LUNs.

I also use the off-array gui when looking at NAR files which is significantly faster, and of course better with version 29. I have the management server running locally on my laptop and thus connect to localhost. I then can pull up large NAR files in seconds vs 10-20 minutes.

Nice, that is good to hear. I have used older versions and the performance improvement over a direct connection to the SP was not that great. I will have to install 6.29 and try it again.

What are the errors that you're getting when you try to uninstall?

Using Add/remove programs it starts to run through the uninstall, however when it gets to the uninstalling folders part it comes up with a "The uninstallation could not complete due to an error"  First time I ran this it had seemingly stripped the perms from the folder "ManagementServer" re-added perms and even used the Local admin account but still fails.  This fails at the same point even if I try to run the upgrade over the top.  Appreciate any help

I've searched through the release notes and did not find any issues involving unistall problems. What Windows version are you using?

You may just have to manually delete the folders, but that would also delete any domain setup that you have.

I'll check a couple of other places to see if there is any mention of this problem.
