You should always use the current version of the NST no matter what FLARE you are using. As far as i know, they are all backward compatible.
As for the other software, it is recommended that you use the same version of navisphere agent & CLI for the level of FLARE. so if you update the FLARE to R26, also upgrade the agent and CLI. It is also stated that you can be within one level of FLARE for your agent/CLI.
Sounds like you have hosts that are conected to a R24 that will be updated to a R26 array? But in the future you may have to connect the same host to a CX4 R29 array? I would wait till you move the host to CX4 before updating the Navi agent/CLI
The powerpath upgrade will depend on the OS level...
Regrading the Navisphere Agent version, if you look in the relase notes for Navisphere Manager it will show you the compatible Navi Agent and CLI versions that are compatible with the major FLARE releases. For your reference Navi Agent 6.19 through 6.29 are compatible with FLARE 26, but for FLARE 29 only Navi Agent/CLI 29 are supported.
For the full compatibilty table see page 15-17 in the document below:
Also with regards to which version of NST to use. I concur with Kenn, use the latest.
Below are the minumum supported FLARE and Arrays for the latest version of NST:
Storage-system requirements The minimum EMC FLARE® requirements for this version are: FLARE version 02.19 or later for CX series storage systems FLARE version 03.22 or later for CX3 series storage systems FLARE version 04.28 or later for CX4 series storage systems FLARE version 02.23.050.5.xxx for AX4 series storage systems
