Oracle VM server release 2.2.0

Does anyone have any experience successfully implementing Oracle VM server release 2.2.0 using EMC Clariion CX4 storage in a clustered FC environment? I would like to hear about what others are experiencing with this product.

Sort-of, I am using Oracle VM Server 2.2.1 and EMC Clariion CX500 with DELL PowerEdge 2850 servers and Qlogic 2340 HBA's.

Of all Xen implementations (including Citrix XenServer 5.5, 5.6, 5.6 fp1) I found the Oracle compilation to be by far the easiest to install from PXE boot with 100% scripted hands-off installation. All servers boot from the SAN with a separate boot LUN for each server and all servers share one other LUN where Oracle VM Server creates an OCFS2 cluster for VM's / shared data.

The setup is quite painless and the cluster works very vell. The web-based GUI however is really ugly / bad / featureless but it is not too hard to use ConVirt 2.0 Open Source to manage the servers instead.

I have to say that I am quite impressed by the result of Oracle's effort, i.e. they have managed to package a very powerful and feature-complete Xen distribution ready for serious high-availability implementation. It has been rock-solid for me and the sum of scripted installation plus high-availibility plus easy OCFS2 cluster plus boot from SAN with no local disks in the servers is what made me jump on the bandwagon
