output of navisphere cli getrg command

Hi!
I need to know explicitely what does the output of the command "getrg -state" (get raid group state) mean.
Navisphere command line reference give these possible values :
Explicit_Remove
Valid_luns
Expanding
Defragmenting
Halted
Busy

I wonder about the signification of Explicit_Remove and Valid_luns (these are default normal values).

thanks
thomas

explicit_remove indicates that the RAID group must be destroyed manually once the last LUN is unbound. During the creation of the RAID group, you have the option (by checkbox) to have the RAID group destroyed automatically when the last LUN is unbound. You can also change that on the properties of the RAID group.

valid_luns is returned when there are LUNs bound to the RAID group.

expanding is when you add more disks to the RAID group.

defragmenting is when you are consolidating contigous space.

I'm not sure what halted and busy are for. I don't think I've ever seen those get returned.

sometimes the raid group parity calculation is stopped by code bug or exception errors...that shows raid group halted...

you usually need to contact support to get it resolved...
