160Mb/s is almost the maximum you can have from one HBA 2 gb .
Can you please specify what is your configuration ?
and also what kind of test you running ?
Block size ?
How many threads ?
also the OS you using and if you perform the test on raw device or file system ?
Thanks

My setup:
Dell 2950 III, 8 core 3.0 Ghz, 8gb RAM, 2 disks SAS 73Gb (raid 1)
HBA Qlogic QLE 2462 ( 4gb )
windows 2003 32 bits
I am using to test the tools: h2benchw, HDtach, PerformanceTest v6 and iometer.
All the tools, same performance 160 MB/s.
I used 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128k, windows NTFS block size. Same performance 160 MB/s.
Test on raw device and file system, same performance 160 MB/s.
Today I updated the driver for Qlogic QLE2462 version of EMC 9.1.7.16 and nothing has changed.
Any ideas?
thanks
