Problem with CX500

The disks are loosing connectivity every now and then, and giving the amber light.
The clariion is showing faulty sign in the NAVI manager, and showing the T sign afterwards.

however all LUNs are accessible without any problem i found in some PDF this issue may happen because of LCC cables.

Also the customer has Mirror view and flare code 19. is there any save way to upgrade the flare code to 26 without affecting the mirror view?

Can any one tell me the right way to troubleshoot this issue with the solution.

Appreciated

Amber lights usually mean a fault on the array, like a failed disk. The T stands for transition - you get this when a failed disk that has rebuilt to the hot spare is transitioning to the replaced disk or back to the original disk.

You probably should open a service call with EMC.

Sounds like an excelent idea ! Don't go messing around yourself. LUNs are accessible because they are RAID protected, but in degraded state and like kelleg says: the HS is probably kicking in and that's why you see a ."T" (Transitioning).
